Match Report
The Sussex Martlets Golfing Society welcomed their guests to West Sussex Golf Club, Pulborough on Thursday 20th November 2025 for their annual end of season Reciprocals Match. Having missed the previous days snow, conditions were nonetheless testing on a very cold, frosty morning ensuring that scoring remained modest throughout.
The winners on count-back were Simon Bulteel & Tsol Keoshgerian representing Piltdown Golf Club on 32 points, who squeezed out Simon Baillie-Hamilton and Stewart Tippler. Just a single point adrift in third place were Nigel Jupp & John Kilshaw of West Sussex Golf Club.
Simon Bulteel therefore maintained his quite outstanding record in this annual event.
The prizes were awarded after a delicious carvery lunch to which much thanks must be given to the staff of the home club, after which Martlets and guests alike said their farewells. Everyone left looking forward not just to the upcoming Ashes Test Series, but to renewing acquaintances in 2026.
