Sussex Martlets Golf Day

The first outing for the Martlet golfers this year was the annual gathering at Mannings Heath GC. The weather was bright and sunny with a gentle breeze and the course was in a fine condition. The day was won by Chris Gray with a commendable 40 points followed by Andy Rogers with 35 points. We were able to muster afterwards on the Club terrace in the sunshine for a socially distanced get together. Both red and white offerings from the Wine Estate were sampled and neither found wanting! The numbers that attended were encouraging, and despite the COVID restrictions a good time was had by all.
