Sussex Martlets Annual Golf Day: Seaford Golf Club
In late summer conditions, which could not have been better, we enjoyed a marvellous day’s golf at Seaford Golf Club at Blatchington. The views from the Downs are outstanding, but the course punishes any loss of concentration, particularly on very good fast greens!
Sixteen of us played a stableford competition for the Martlet Trophy. The Nearest the Pin prize was won by Tim Mynott, and the Longest Drive was (appropriately) won by a visiting Australian guest, Bradley Copp. The Trophy was won by Adrian White with Gregory West in second place.
We then enjoyed an excellent lunch and the day was completed watching the Ryder Cup in the lounge. A good day all round.
