Sussex Martlets Annual Golf Day
Sixteen Martlets mustered for our golf meeting at Mannings Heath GC on one of the many bright sunny days of late June. We were graced by Martlet stalwarts Ham Whitty and David Scrivens who along with others, enjoyed a sumptuous luncheon on the Club Terrace. After a glass of wine or two, we ventured on to the course which was in great condition and proved a challenge for all standards of golfer. Steve Pook took the honours with 33 points, closely followed by Chris Gray. We all look forward to returning next year to this splendid venue.
