Sussex Martlets 171, Johnny Will 45
The Martlets won the toss and elected to field. The Yellowhammers batted well as a team with only one player scoring over 50 in a total of 277 for 9 declared. Jaco Nel from Eastbourne CC bowled excellently taking 4 wickets on the ever batter friendly wicket at Tonbridge School. In reply The Martlets top six did not quite fire and being five down at tea made winning the game very difficult. Saving the game was on the cards with a stout 45 from Jonny Wills but sadly the Martlets were bowled out for 171. A good day was had by all and we were well looked after by the Yellowhammers once again.
