Band of Brothers 201 - 7
The Martlets almost pulled off an unlikely victory against a strong (and young) Band of Brothers side. We were well placed at 148-3 at lunch but collapsed to 198 all out. That was where the game was lost.
We had very little bowling on what was a typical Arundel ‘road’ but Chadburn (unusually opening the bowling) made early inroads before the guile of Lack and Dutta caused the Band of Brothers to wobble.
Disappointing to lose but all in all a very pleasant day.
